Jonathon R. La Chapelle is Counsel at Gruenstein Law, where he represents companies and individuals in complex civil litigation and arbitration, and regulatory investigations and enforcement actions.

Jonathon draws on extensive experience litigating corporate, securities, commercial, and privacy disputes in state and federal court and before domestic and international arbitral tribunals.  He also assists clients in navigating high-stakes internal investigations and disputes with regulators.

Jonathon began his career as a litigation associate at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz. Prior to joining Wachtell Lipton, he received his J.D., with High Honors, from the University of Chicago Law School, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif and was a member of The University of Chicago Law Review. He also received multiple awards for outstanding research and writing and served as a research assistant to the Honorable Richard A. Posner. He received his B.A. in Economics, with Highest Distinction, from the University of Michigan.
